The End of Identity/Gender/Race...?

It was suggested in class on Monday that one missing myth in Mosco's book was The End of Identity, the End of Gender ... etc. Consider MCI's almost classic Anthem Ad ... early hypes and hyerboles about the internet and community formation to current leapfrogging myths in ICT4D discourses...

Could we add a collaborative chapter?

I think that would be fascinating. But how on earth would it work? ... as an article: Addendum to the Sublime: More Myths for Mosco ...

My suggestion is to separate the chapter/paper into sections, as Mosco does. First outline the most pertinent myths, and their cultural manifstation. Then we could discuss ways that the myths are refuted and continued -- I'm thinking Turkle, Alluquere Stone, those same ICT4D folks, but also the criticisms from Plou, etc.
